Synthetic Deviation Correction Method for Tracking Satellite of the SOTM Antenna on High Maneuverability Carriers

Using Satcom-On-The-Move (SOTM) antenna on moving carriers to track communication satellites is a rapidly developing technology. The normal running of the SOTM system requires its beam target satellite accurately at all times. However, due errors measurement system, tracking deviation will inevitably occur, especially when carrier in ahigh maneuvering state, which may cause failures. In this paper, we propose synthetic correction algorithm; high error converted into azimuth as well pitch that needs be corrected correct pointing antenna. Finally, proposed algorithm verified by experiments. experimental results show has good isolation effect maneuverability carrier, means more accurate and achieves better quality under state. effectiveness illustrated.
